I met Oge during my Yoga Teacher Training, she was my mentor during the training. Oge's mere presence is so powerful. Is as if I immediately understood that the universe put her in my life and at first I wasn't sure what the reason behind it was, but I found the reason very quickly after our first few interactions. Her energy is one that carries such a profound message without the need for words, and she has such a natural ability to see through people. We did a lot of shadow work during my Yoga Teacher Training, it was very tough for me and for where I was mentally then. I thought about quitting a lot of times, or skipping a particular exercise or activity that caused me to look deeper within myself. But in the most loving and gentle way possible, Oge pushed me to keep going, to keep searching and that experience alone was just what I needed to reconnect with myself. Oge turns up the volume to my inner voice, that carries all the wisdom, but I often tone down. I find it difficult to explain the way I come to center myself by having just a short conversation with her. After meeting Oge, and having the privilege of having her as my mentor, I've come to realize that there's some people who are born healers and she's one of them. Oge's natural healing approach is the perfect combination between tender and loving, and firm and steady. She embodies the constant balance that we seek to have, in order to remain grounded.
